How to upgrade a Google Adsense hosted account to non-hosted as follows:
- First of all, log in to your Google Adsense account. Hosted accounts are marked with the writing red hosted account on the upper right.
- On the right, right on the gear icon, click Settings. After that, click Site Authorization. In the text box that says I will show ads on write the domain name of your blog or website. Remember, you have to use www in front of it. After that, press the Submit button.

Therefore, when making a domain name change, the first step that must be done is to re-register with Webmaster Tools.
